Adventures with the Polhamus children...

Only a handful of go train stops away, I try to visit my sister and her kids as much as I can.

The other day while babysitting my 7 nieces and nephews I was cooking dinner and Adam was playing around with the kids – keeping them entertained. At 5'5 it's getting really hard for me to throw the kids around like I used to… I stay the same size and they just keep getting bigger! So while I manage dinner and cleaning, Adam takes care of the rough-housing!  He was giving all the kids "airplane rides" you know, when you throw a kid over your shoulder and run around with them as if flying them from place to place. (Since Adam works for the City Of Toronto, in and out of daycares around the city he knows exactly how to amuse the kiddies.) I watched on nervously as they “flew” from one side of the house to the other... with my little nephew in the air.
"Okay Jeddy hold on tight..." Adam began. "Lift off!" This went on for about two minutes, Adam flying him around from one country to another when I heard Jeddy's excited voice yell out. "No Adam, I want to go to Nunavut!"

Adam and I exchanged amused glances and he continued. I found it hilarious that my 3 year old nephew would choose such a random destination.
